IMPORTANT HEALTH & SAFETY REMINDER Dear BEMS Families, The health and safety of our students and staff are always a top priority at Baileysville Elementary & Middle School. Some individuals in our school community experience severe reactions to fragrances and aerosol products. Exposure can cause serious health concerns, including difficulty breathing. To help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, students are not permitted to bring, spray, or apply the following products at school or on school buses: * Body sprays * Perfumes and colognes * Aerosol deodorants * Other scented sprays Students may continue using personal hygiene products at home before coming to school. However, we kindly ask families to be mindful of strong fragrances, as scents can remain on clothing and personal belongings and may affect individuals with severe sensitivities. Regular stick or roll-on deodorants are encouraged as alternatives to aerosol sprays. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work together to protect the health and well-being of everyone at BEMS. Thank you for helping us keep our school a safe, healthy, and welcoming place for ALL! 💙❤️ Baileysville Elementary & Middle School #BEMSRoughRiders #ILoveWVPublicSchools
