Mrs. Bauer’s Environmental Science students produced hydrogen gas, a renewable energy source! They created a water gauge to measure the amount of hydrogen produced, and in 24 hours, their gauges were at the top! Such an exciting lab with #EngineeringTomorrow #RenewableEnergy

WE determined human blood types by exposing synthetic bloods to various “antibodies” in Mrs. Bauer’s Biology classes. We used Punnett Squares to determine probabilities of parents and offspring having A, B, AB, and O blood, demonstrating our understanding of Mendelian Genetics and Co-Dominant inheritance patterns. #BloodTypingLab #Genetics #ProbabilityProblemSolving

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, these dedicated students were rewarded with EZ Stop gift cards for their outstanding school spirit! They showed up and showed out at our basketball games—especially at Westside and our girls’ home game against James Monroe the very next day. Pictured are Madison Wood, Kenna Price, Micah McCoy, Lee Hearn, and Emily Adkins. Also receiving a gift card but not pictured were Breanna Lowery and Austin Pennington. Four of these students went above and beyond, not only cheering on our teams but also staying after to help clean up.
